Our Zero Footprint Shopping Program can also be licensed and branded as your own.
Sustain Hawaii is the first to launch this as their own branded program, which is just like any other retail reward program, except ours is good for the people and the planet.
As with all of our programs, the process is simple... once a shopper creates an online profile, every time a purchase is made through our online store or at one of the stores on our siteʻs list, we reward the shopper with prosumer points much the same way miles are accrued by airline credit cards. The points set aside are equal to the amount of money needed to offset, on average, 100% of the pollution emitted in the lifecycle of the goods and services purchased. The amount is automatically calculated for each purchase, using a comprehensive equation, and added to your profile showing the prosumer points you've accumulated to offset your carbon emissions and see your contributions.
By offset, we mean that the money is invested in local energy-efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable agriculture programs to balance or offset global warming pollution. The new programs created from offset funds will gradually replace those that do harm to our environment. Where there are gaps in local solutions we strive to provide the best global alternatives.
It's a simple two-step process…

- At no extra cost to the shopper, we will offset the pollution of the products purchased by investing in clean energy and other sustainable solutions.
