MakeMeSustainable (MMS) is a green portal designed to educate and empower individuals and communities to reduce their environmental impact. MMS provides simple and personalized quantitative tools to reveal how individual actions can translate into a powerful collective effort to combat Global Warming. Actions as simple as using reusable containers, to changing light bulbs, to car pooling can affect wide-scale change when powered by an underlying community. MMS also created a great Facebook Application.

The Carbon Tree uses MMS underlying platform to track the real-time carbon reductions of all the individuals that participate, as well as all the people they refer and so on... In essence, it displays the ripple effect of taking action and stimulating a wide-spread collective effort. As an example, the Carbon Tree above is comprised of 152 people, who have collectively reduced 130 tons of Carbon.
